Diaz's 39-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Earl Diaz put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Coca Cola and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had the game-high 39 points adding four rebounds and four assists for Coca Cola in his team's victory, helping them to edge out U17 (#6, 1-4) 93-90. Thanks to this victory Coca Cola moved-up to the 7th position in Cayman Islands league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 5 games and recorded just one victory. In the team's last game Diaz had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Coca Cola, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Diaz has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 24.3ppg), assists (6th best: 3.5apg) and averages solid 3.8spg.

Second best performed player last round was Brad Lansdell (193-F) of Michelob Ultra. He is a forward in his first season at Michelob Ultra. In the last game Lansdell recorded an impressive 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course he led Michelob Ultra to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Pilipinas SK (#5, 2-5) 93-71. Michelob Ultra's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 4-4 record is not bad at all. Lansdell is one of the most experienced players at Michelob Ultra and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 29.3ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 14.0rpg and 3.7apg.

Third place about best performers goes to Rajon Boothe of U17 Select Team (#6). Boothe scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite Boothe's great performance the U17 lost 90-93 to slightly lower-ranked Coca Cola (#7, 1-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. U17 can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-4 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. The season just started for Boothe as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
